Park Celebrities

On Saturday we went to the park to spend time with some friends and to see that Isaac got play time with other children. The parks here are not the same. There are not playgrounds--only wide open spaces. If you want to go to the playground, you go to the mall, KFC, or McDonalds.

We crossed over a bridge to get to the park. We saw a very Asian looking boat (see picture), but before we could even make it half way over, we were bombarded with people wanting to look at our white-haired little girl. As you can see, they even wanted to take pictures.

We left this group of people only to be surrounded yet again. :) It is still new for us. It may get old eventually, but we enjoy the kind people. Sometimes it is hard to remember how empty they really are when they always seem to be so sweet.

The park had a pond and many of the locals were taking pictures of their children. We ventured away from the pond to the grassy area. We saw a little girl having her picture professionally taken. You guessed it....why not put the foreign white baby in the picture? So, that was quite humurous. Autumn had no idea she was so popular.

So to sum everything up, the kids had a great time running and playing. Isaac was able to be a boy...climb on rocks, jump off rocks, roll in the grass, kick the ball, and just have a good dirty time. And Autumn chased all the little girls around and enjoyed being the center of attention.
