So Many People

There are certain times here where you are reminded of the immense population surrounding you. Wal-Mart on a weekend is definitely one of those times. Below is a picture to illustrate what I am trying to say. I used to sometimes avoid Wal-Mart in America because of crowds, yet it now pales in comparison. However, both Cara and I did make some new friends on this trip, so that made it all worthwhile.

Tonight, we took our handy dandy Chinese-English generic menu and ventured out for a family meal at a real Chinese restaurant. Below are some pictures from the establishment, which we have decided will be a regular for us. The workers are very nice, and the three dishes we had (potatoe shoots, breaded pork, and peanuts and chicken) were VERY good! Autumn downed as much as normal, while Isaac still preferred to stay with the rice. He is making some progress however and has tried some new things.

On our way home from the restaurant, yet another fireworks display greeted us right outside our building. Isaac has become very fond of these and always runs to see them. Autumn, on the other hand, showed substantial fear. The one downer is that 4th of July celebrations will probably just not carry the same excitement for them anymore. Daily fireworks right outside your home tends to take the edge off a little bit.

Finally, we wanted to give you a good view of the base of our apartment building at night. Little like Vegas huh?
