We Didn't Expect This

Two Inches of Snow

As you can well imagine, Isaac was very excited to wake up and see snow on the ground. Of course, he is not old enough to be getting out of school yet, but the look on his face was adorable nonetheless. He was able to go outside and just be a boy in the snow - make snowballs, kick things, throw things, etc.

Autumn enjoyed seeing the snow as well, but it was a little too cold to take her out in it. We only had about a couple inches, but it was very good packing snow. We even saw some little snowmen. :)

Cooking 101

Earlier in the week, we had another cooking demonstration in our home. It's getting harder and harder to tell if the food we eat is really that delicious, or if we have just been gone from America for so long. But, either way, we really enjoyed it.

Our friends are very gracious in doing things like this for us, and it was a very enjoyable evening. As an added benefit, we learned quite a bit of new langauge as well.

Children's Pics

And last, but certainly not least, a couple pictures of the children. We just recently did a Skype call with some close friends back home, and they commented how much Autumn had changed. Although it is very hard for us to judge those sorts of things, you can rest assured, both children are doing very well. We will all be glad for the warm weather to arrive allowing us to spend more time outside. But, we are growing a lot as a family and are just enjoying His plan for us.
