Just a Few More Days

We apologize for being a day late on this post. Things have not been routine lately, so we dropped the ball. That being said, we just have a couple more days here in Thailand before returning home. We have had a wonderful time, but we are all ready to sleep in our own beds again.

The kids have really enjoyed getting to take part in several new activities. One night we were able to go to a carnival. There was a clown making balloon animals, moon bounces, popcorn, all kinds of carnival games, hamburgers, hot dogs, and ice cream. We even got to see some fireworks before going to bed.

This picture has no particular significance, just another reminder that our kids still haven't stopped growing up yet. I don't guess we should hold our breath too much.

Another night we were able to go out and eat some truly American hamburgers. This particular picture was taken at the street vendor just outside the restaurant. Autumn was particularly fascinated by all the bugs, but she wasn't up to trying to chew on any of them. :)

Who can eat an American hamburger without topping it off with some ice cream? Certainly not Isaac. He will take any opportunity he can to sample some new ice cream. As you can see, he enjoyed this one.

And, lastly, we were able to go to a crocodile park. We fed some crocodiles and watched one of the Thai showman put his head inside the crocs jaws. Autumn and Isaac were very scared watching the performance because they thought the crocodile was going to eat the man. They had quite a few other animals at the park including elephants, tigers, and bears. Isaac was very surprised to find out that a couple of the elephants were actually younger than him (the babies were three years old).
