Goodbye to Our Friend

Our friend left this week, and honestly it was really hard to say goodbye. Our house seems very empty and quiet, and the kids continually ask, "Where is Gina?" They don't quite understand that she is not coming back (at least not for a while).

Isaac is doing well at school, and Autumn is enjoying her new home and especially the playground. She hasn't forgotten that it is out there and she asks to go there everyday.

Our landlord has been so helpful and very involved. This weekend he came to our house to take us on a tour. We were expecting just to get a scenic view of the city, but instead he took us to a museum and a really nice park. Then we had dinner at his home, and this dinner was much more normal than the last dinner we had with him. :)

Things are going good. We are getting adjusted, and we are ready to get out and make some friends!
