Recently, we had some new friends over to our home. They wanted to try out some Mexican food, and we were happy to oblige. Sadly, it was not a good representation of the delicious dishes served south of the border because many of the necessary ingredients are impossible to find here. However, it was good nonetheless. And, surprisingly, all of our friends thought so as well. All in all, it was a very good evening.
As usual, they all wanted their picture taken with the kids. Autumn has gotten quite used to this, and handled it in stride. The kids really love it when friends come over though because they get to play! Our college friends really like playing with children and it is good to watch them laugh with Isaac and Autumn. It also gives us a break.

We don't really have any special story associated with this picture - just Autumn in her PJ's. She is growing up so fast. Every day, we are amazed at the conversations we have with her now. Apparently, having an older sibling pushes her to quite a vocabulary. :)

Speaking of older siblings, Isaac on the computer!?!? Are you kidding me? We must be in the 21st century, because he is working it like it is nothing. He loves the Sesame Street educational games, and it is fun to watching him as he is learning to read. This picture, on the other hand, is just him playing pool. He didn't really understand the concept, but he enjoyed knocking the balls around at random.

Lastly, we want to send a shoutout to Meagan for sending some little crafts for the kids to do. This past Sunday we talked as a family about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. The kids were able to color some sheets, act out the story, and even put together this little craft that Isaac is holding. He absolutely loved it, and it was definitely a rare treat.

Love all the pics! Did you break out the Taco Bell sauce for the mexican food? I think I might try to make some chinese food soon. I really miss it.
Love you all!
