Summer Heat!

We have to apologize on the front end, because we were not very active with our camera this week. It has been hot! We try to follow the local culture and be a little less active in the afternoon because of the heat. It's a little different than what I am used to, but it certainly has it's benefits.

This past weekend, some friends offered to take us to the local water park. We had heard good things about it, and we were very excited. However, when we arrived we realized everyone else in the city was excited as well. They had actually had to stop allowing people in because the water park had become overcrowded. So, since we could use our tickets another day, we just decided to go back home and use the pool near our house.

Below are some pictures we just took this evening. Occasionally, at night, we let Isaac ride his bike to the park that is very near our home. It is not nearly as hot at night, and there are many other kids for he and Autumn to get out and run around with. They really enjoy it, and it provides very good interaction with those other kids.

Overall, we are just continuing to take care of each other and walk in step with our Father. Some days are hard. Some days are good. I suppose that is true no matter what part of the world you are living in. :) But, as many of you know, when those hard days come our Father shows himself to be the merciful "Daddy" that He is. And, you are reminded that you could not imagine going through life without following Him.
