Out for Summer

Last week was the kids' last week of school. We were really expecting an end of the year graduation like last year. However, for some reason they had a very small graduation at their school during classtime. They only invited 6 parents from each class to attend. We didn't know this, and we asked to come. So, they said it was ok. It was cute, but really Isaac and Autumn's classes did not do anything. Only the very outgoing students participated along with the oldest kindgergarten class. Here are some pictures from that day.The kids are just now starting to understand that they don't have school during the week now. Autumn has still been waking up at 6:30 am every morning (which she DID NOT do when she had school)... Why did Joel have to wake her up when she had school but now that she doesn't have school she won't sleep late??? Crazy! It is not because she is not tired. She even goes to bed later now and wakes up with the sun. Ah!!!This week and next Joel and I are helping out with a children's Summer Camp at the Language School. The students range from 13 to 15 years old. The theme is "Superheroes." So it will be quite an exciting week. Currently we are taking turns watching the kids while the other helps with the camp. These next two weeks will be busy for us as we help with the camp but also try to stay afloat with our own language studies.Today the kids and I were going to go play with some other foreigners, but Isaac has been a little sick for two days now. This morning was the worst, so we are playing things a little safe. I am anxious to see how he is going to feel after he eats lunch.

So that is our exciting news for today and the past week. This weekend we plan on going to another city and I am sure we will have pictures from that. Also, Joel and my anniversary are coming very soon. We are trying to decide what we will do, but we are planning a mini-trip without the kids. Looking forward to that. :)

Oh, I almost forgot.... Last Friday we took the kids to see the new Ice Age 3 movie in 3D! Here are a couple pictures with their huge glasses.
