Well, as some of you know, this week has been quite difficult in many ways. Cara has been in and out of doctor's offices and hospitals because of issues with a pregnancy that has not gone correctly.
So, this week, we are going to take a brief break from our blog just to ask you to pray for Cara. Tomorrow afternoon (very early Wednesday morning in America), Cara is going to have surgery to try to fix what the doctors now know is a tubal pregnancy. We are all ready for the process to be over, and while none of us enjoys even thinking about what that surgery means, we are trusting our Father in the midst of it all.
We were able to take one picture in the hospital, but it's not very clear. :) Sorry about that. Please know that Cara is under the care of very good doctors and facilities in Hong Kong. There are risks involved, as there are with every surgery, but they are minimal.
So, if you would, before you go to sleep on Tuesday evening, just say a prayer for us and especially for Cara. We know that our Father is in complete control of this situation, but we also know he loves it when we demonstrate our trust in Him by voicing prayers that show how much He is in control!
We love you all and will update this blog when we have some results from the surgery.
